This exciting new board game celebrates the very best of the Peak District, and we’re over the moon to be part of it.

The launch event for the game took place right here at The George, where we had the pleasure of welcoming the iconic MONOPOLY man, Millburn Pennybags, as he relaxed in one of our suites.

The event was brilliant, especially with the children from Hathersage St Michaels C of E Primary School in attendance. The school was gifted a copy of the new game to play in class. 

As part of the MONOPOLY fun, our sister venue, The Maynard is featured on a Community Chest card, where one lucky player can win an Afternoon Tea experience at the venue. While this is a fictitious prize, we encourage you to visit all of our venues to enjoy our famous Afternoon Tea experience in real life!

MONOPOLY: Peak District Edition is now available to purchase at The George Hathersage for £34.95 (subject to availability), and you can even ask to play the game during your visit. Just ask for a board at reception.
