Choose the full English with New Close Farm sausages, bacon, black pudding and eggs any style, or keep things lighter with smashed avocado on toasted sourdough, smoked salmon muffins with cream cheese and dill, or gluten-free porridge with blueberries and maple syrup. From Derbyshire oatcake wraps to American-style pancakes with berry compote, there is something for every appetite, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options all given proper care.

A Menu Rooted in Peak District Produce

Food is serious business here too. Our menus are rooted in Peak District produce and local inspiration, whether you are dropping in for a long lunch, gathering friends for a celebratory dinner, or refuelling after a hike. From sage and chorizo-stuffed pork fillet wrapped in pancetta, with sautéed greens, mashed potato, creamy sage and chorizo sauce to vegan spiced-battered oyster mushrooms, smoked paprika, butterbean purée, hasselback potatoes, grilled tenderstem broccoli, and vegan feta plus hearty signature burgers and pizzas made in our wood fired pizza oven before your eyes, there is something for everyone. Our breakfasts are just as tempting, with classic cooked plates, lighter options and plenty of flexibility for special diets. Every stay includes a Peak District breakfast.

Of course, you will want something good to drink. Our bar is always buzzing, serving local ales, premium beers, classic cocktails and a carefully chosen wine list that works as well with food as it does on its own.
